ABOUT

LONG BEACH BOMBERS

The Long Beach Bombers are proud to be a member of the USPHL premier hockey league. Owners Josh Fitzgerald, Bryana Fitzgerald and Curtis Fisher are very excited to bring ice hockey back to the Long Beach community.

Upon buying the USPHL team from Emmerson Etem, Josh and Curtis brainstormed ideas on how to give the community a team to cheer for. The Bombers name holds a historical significance in Long Beach and we hope to re-create the hard working, motivated, and intelligent team this city once saw. Original owner of the Bombers, Ron White, is very excited to watch our organization grow and expand the legacy. Co-Owner Curtis Fisher was once a proud Bomber himself and is determined to bring the community together through ice hockey.

Looking into our first season in the USPHL, we welcome Paul Beutner. Paul was previously on bench with the Bozeman ice dogs. The Bombers are in good hands when head coach Beutner is on the bench. When he was asked to give a statement on becoming head coach of the Bombers he said, “With a relentless work ethic and an intense attention to detail coupled with an aggressive mindset, we hope to reach all of our goals.”

Joining Paul on the bench is Nick Perez. Nick was previously head on the bench for the San Diego Sabers. When Nick was asked to give a statement about joining the bench this season he had stated, “To be great on the ice is what we work on every day, but every second we will make sure they are great citizens in the community”. The Bombers welcome head coach Paul Beutner and assistant coach Nick Perez.

The Long Beach Bombers are determined to create not only an intense, hard working team, but a team of excellent, intelligent, and motivated individuals.
